Armenian language translation and interpreting service

The Armenian language (Armenian Hayeren, also spelled Haieren) forms a separate branch of the Indo-European language family – it was once erroneously considered to be a dialect of Iranian. The Armenian language is thought to be spoken by some 6.7 million individuals.

The Armenian alphabet (Armenian: Հայոց գրեր Hayots grer or Հայոց այբուբեն Hayots aybuben) was developed around 405 CE by Mesmer Mashtots, an Armenian linguist and ecclesiastical leader. It originally included 36 letters, with two more being added in the Middle Ages, and now includes 39. It is written horizontally, left-to-right.
